I’m happy to introduce a course that I’ve been working on for over a year: Android development in Kotlin. Google introduced Kotlin, a language created by JetBrains. Kotlin is an officially supported language in Android Studio. You can integrate it within existing Java applications you already have. Adding a new feature? Try using Kotlin.
I’ve put this course together so you can easily learn how to make your own Android apps using Kotlin.
Kotlin is actually similar to Apple’s Swift; another great language for mobile development. Once you learn Kotlin or Swift, learning the other is extremely easy. I also have a tutorial series on Swift 4, so check that out if you’re interested. Programming for both platforms will make you highly sought after, as mobile developers. It’ll also broaden your horizon and it’ll introduce you to new constructs and paradigms instead of getting locked into one way of thinking.
I hope you enjoy this course and if you have any questions, leave them in the comments on the video’s page.
