Building a web browser in iOS and Swift 3 with UIWebView

In this video tutorial, we’re going to implement a UIWebView in iOS 10 using Swift 3. I’ll show you how to create a URL instance, put that instance in a URLRequest object and then load the request into your view. Now, iOS won’t let you load in any resource that’s not HTTPS or SSL encrypted. This is called App Transport Security and you need to enable HTTP requests. You’ll need to add a NSAppTransportSecurity dictionary, and then create the NSAllowsArbitraryLoads boolean and set it to true. Continue watching the video to see how we can accomplish all of this.
